Leah & Michael, where do I even start with these two and their perfect tiny Woodinville Lavender Wedding?
These two had never planned a huge wedding and always knew they wanted something small. But of course, as with every single plan in 2020, they still wound up switching their wedding plans. These two embraced change. They went with the flow every step of the way, and always kept in mind that no matter what their day looked like they just wanted to get married.
The Wedding Day
It was one of those weddings that is just simple & sweet. Like a breathe of calm in what is often a stressful or slightly chaotic day. Their day felt slow, stress free, and care free which is saying a LOT in the midst of COVID-19.
We spent the first part of their day at Richmond Beach Park in Seattle for their first look. I LOVE this park since it’s never too crowded and it offers all the best parts of being by the Puget Sound. After their first look these two headed HOME for lunch, which only goes to show what I mean when I say stress free. Because, I meaaaaan stress free!
We met up an hour or so later at Woodinville Lavender farm for their wedding ceremony where their closest friends and family joined. Leah & Michaels ceremony was 100% them and reminded me why I love tiny weddings. There’s something about only having your absolute favorite people around on your wedding day that means you can be yourself no matter what.
There really are just some weddings that feel like they hit the nail on the head when it comes to the heart of what it means to get married. And this for me, was one of them.
Here’s what Leah had to say about her day!
“We absolutely loved working with Amanda, she has such a creative style and an eye for capturing the most stunning shots! She captured the shots we had in mind and so many more than I even imagined possible. She helped us find the perfect spot for first look photos that look like they’re out of a dream!
Amanda is also just the sweetest person and radiates such a positive energy that it felt like we were working with someone we’ve known for years! She genuinely loves her couples and goes above and beyond to capture your vision and more. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and gently guided our posing for natural looking shots. I could not be happier with how our galleries turned out!
She was so patient and accommodating to our impromptu additional family shots too. Our guests had so many wonderful things to say about her work and professionalism!
I am recommending her to everyone and I am already making up milestones for opportunities to work with Amanda again, I cannot wait to do fur baby photos!!”
Don’t forget to check out their indoor botanical conservatory engagement session too!
