I feel like I can hear Julia’s laugh in all these photos, and feel Conner’s warm smile in all of them too. And if there was a wedding day I’d want to relive a million times this one would be way up there in the running.
There’s something that just works so well when the purpose of your day isn’t just for show. You can tell when everyone, guests and vendors alike, were handpicked because the vibes were all good because you get a day where the vibes really are just all so good.
Working with Hannah from Hummingbird Event Co is always a favorite of mine, her mission toward sustainability in the wedding industry is just the cherry on top. I loved all the beautiful details of this Almquist Winery Wedding from the signage and invites by Chloe Clarke, the florals by friends and family, and the perfect pick of rentals from Corty party and Seattle Pedersens! Delicious food was made and served family style by Table Catering Co. Following dinner we all danced our hearts out with help from Integral DJ’s.
They hosted their small ceremony with just family in the greenhouse portion of Almquist, an immaculate vibe. I thought their decision to have a tiny intimate ceremony followed by a larger reception was a perfect way to have the best of both worlds - some intimacy while still getting your dance floor party!
Their reception at Almquist Winery was held in the Barrel room, which sets a wonderful moody vibe for the rest of the evening. While they were welcomed into their reception space the most beautiful light flowed in from the single window casting everything in a glow. CHEFS KISS.
One of my favorite parts of Julia & Conner’s day was sneaking away for photos between their ceremony and reception. This doesn’t work well for everyone but it was perfect for them, it gave us a chance to visit parsons park in the area and snap some beautiful golden hour photos. I loved being able to focus on some of the details that were special to them - Rings and accessories from Grandma and beautiful florals.
