Lily & Daniel’s Wandering Waters Farm wedding was simply 100% them. They had their first look on Mt.Baker, a place that is so special to them that they even named their first dog Baker, and their second pup Shuksan! They had the dreamiest first look by a lake and then headed up for a few photos with some epic mountain backdrops!
One of Lily & Daniel’s favorite things to do is take there lil VW camper out for a spin (check out their engagement photos for another peek at their #camplife). So we knew it would be important to make sure we documented just a little bit of that.
Later they married under the most perfect mountain arch that was built by Daniel and his family. I mean, who doesn’t want that Arch for themselves!? Their vows had us all in tears, and it was so impossibly sweet to watch these two finally say I DO! Right before their toasts it started to rain and minutes later when the sky opened back up there was a perfect rainbow, if that isn’t extra good luck I don’t know what is!
All in all, this day was one that won’t soon be forgotten.

“Amanda is truly amazing! She brings such a wonderful presence to your wedding and engagement session.
Her flexibility and willingness to roll with things was awesome. I doubt there are many photographers who would respond with “I’m in!” when you propose doing your engagement session roughly three hours away on the Olympic peninsula. Or “sounds great” when you suggest doing your first look on top of a mountain (including helping me into my dress because my bridesmaids were still getting ready elsewhere), before rushing back to shoot your wedding at the bottom of said mountain.
Having a photographer like Amanda (and her husband as our second shooter) made my wedding dreams a reality. Amanda is really the whole package.
She checks off the traditional wedding photographer box–she really is quite talented. But where she really shines is if you are looking for something adventurous, or different, or really just someone who will make you feel comfortable while having your photo taken 1000 times! (and i’m not exaggerating on that, she gave us a wedding gallery of over 900 photos).” -Lily H
